Difference between mechanical workbench mechanical compensation and hydraulic workbench mechanical compensation of hydraulic press brake machine

In order to offset the uneven bending caused by the elastic deformation of the press brake machine, mold and material, and improve the accuracy and quality of the workpiece, MACRO cnc machine company provide you with mechanical  compensation and hydraulic compensation workbeach for your choice .

1. Mechanical compensation

Mechanical compensation is achieved by changing the position of the bottom mold during the bending process. Its main advantages are simple structure, easy maintenance, high positioning accuracy, and no external power source. However, the amount of press brake  machine mechanical compensation is limited and can generally only be applied to bending workpieces with angles less than 90 degrees and thin plate thicknesses. When the amount of compensation is insufficient, over- or under-bending is likely to occur, resulting in reduced processing accuracy and quality.

2. Hydraulic compensation

Press brake machine hydraulic compensation is achieved by changing the position of the upper mold during the bending process. Its main advantages are large compensation amount, high compensation accuracy, wide application range, and can realize automatic operation through computer numerical control system. However, the structure of hydraulic compensation is complex, difficult to maintain, requires an external power source, and is expensive.

Taken together, mechanical compensation of hydraulic press brake  machine is suitable for workpieces with small angles and thin plate thickness, while hydraulic compensation is suitable for workpieces with large angles and thick plate thickness. When you purchasing MACRO press brake machine, we will choose the appropriate compensation method for you based on your needs.
